XBox 360 an Wireless routers Question

Will just any old Router work or does it take sompun special?
My Grandson Got an Xbox for his Bday the 12th, They dont have a Router . I have a Belkin that I dont use much. Will it work?

Should work fine. The older versions (of the XBox) used to require a plug-in antenna to pick up the signal, but if it's a new one (less than a few years old), it should work fine.

I don't know remember all the details of setting it up, but I know I used a plain old router.

As long as the router is strong enough for the signal to reach wherever the Xbox is set up it will be fine.

I took my Router over for the boy to use until the one I ordered gets here. should be a week er so . Seems to be working ok
