Seems he took his rifle with him hunting and shot a black bear with it.

Their mascot has a real gun and shoots wild food with it.

We had to get rid of Little Red and now make do with the horse pigs.

What is wrong with this picture? Truly we live in the latter days of the law.

I'm waiting until there is some real evidence.

I'm thinking WVU was a damn fine pick to join the B12

That could have been his GF, a WVU Cheerleader or even SicEm for all I know. :D

I can describe the university's reaction in two words: sheer nitwittery.

"Bear****er, do you need assistance?"

Sounds like they should just fire him and then put some wording in the next Mountaineers Contract about no hunting.

Also...there isn't proof he did anything wrong because he didn't do anything wrong except disagree with the University when they asked him to quit hunting with their rifle. Sounds like all he needs to do is buy a different black powder rifle to me.

One would assume that hunting with your own piece is permitted, and that he's not been forbidden to hunt at all *just because* he's the Mountaineer.

Sheesh. Effin' Hillbillies.

Shooting it out of a tree surrounded by a pack of yapping dogs. A Sooner would have wrestled it into submission, then domesticated it.

'Vet would have shaved it down and taught it to speak.

When I got mine I whooped its *** and made it follow me to the taxidermist's place. Slit its throat and told him to call me when he was done

That was back when I hunted and shat
Now yer spot on :emmersed:

ran it over with a covered wagon. roadkill meat is best served rare with the tire tracks still visible.

Truly we live in the latter days of the law.

My brother strongly believes this. I'm not convinced, though I am open to the possibility.

Nonetheless, I bought a Colt AR-15 just in case.

So true!!! For certain that was not hunting. That was unsportsman like target practice. At least shoot the bear on the ground where it has a chance to escape or better yet charge.
