Gimme your thoughts after our two-loss non-conference outing thus far

6/2...about where I thought, 10/2 non conf...maybe 9/3 (loss to a/m)

18 reg season conf games...9/9 or 10/8 outside shot at 11/7

worse case 18/12
med case 19/11
best 21/9

I doubt any of those will get NCAA, MAYBE 21/9 if we can split with the big boys and get a couple of sweeps.


it's an improvement and I see promise out of the young guys.

I think we're looking at the NIT. Which in my opinion would be a huge improvement. Hopefully next year we can sneak our way into the Big Tourny

I still think we are looking at the NIT, which I would prefer because I think we could get more post season experience that way with this young team.


10-2 Non-Conf

11-7 Big12

21-9 Bubble team, but probably NIT.

NIT with less than 20 wins total.

There is no question this team is better than last year, so an NIT appearance would be fine by me.

For anyone that watched the Arkansas game, you saw why we won't make the NCAA tourney. We're just too inexperienced right now. I think Arkansas will be a (NCAA) bubble team, so we're just below that.

Next year could be the break-out year. It seems like Lon has chosen to tough it out with the young guys, and enjoy the fruits later. The man does know how to coach the game.

8-3 non conference record is about what I expected (I didn't expect the A&M win, but I didn't expect the SFA loss either).

We open at WVU, a team we already beat, so it would be really nice to open conference play with a win. There aren't going to be many (if any) easy games the rest of the way, so every winnable game must be won if we're gonna have a shot at the big dance.

If this Team makes the Big Tourney this year...they deserve our accolades. I suspect we aren't nearly that good but anything is possible. They really have to play well and want to be there.

guess the BEST scenario might happened (don't want to jinx OU today~) That is great....and we are IN!!!

And just think, we were a 2nd half meltdown against UT and 1st half meltdown against TCU from being 23/7 and 13/5.
