I just don't see it this year. I LOVE bball...coached, play..so I'm not a basketball bashing football loving OU fan! lol. I think Krug is slowly doing ti right. I do like our 3 FR. Like the fact he is playing who he thinks is good, not just seniors. I do think our "depth" is more of a fact we don't have 5 really strong guys rather than 10 really good guys.

I don't see Neal being much be end of the season, but that is just me. I was hoping he'd be a Dave Seigerist guy...come in and nail 3's. We've had games that we prob would have lost last yr no doubt. So I'm pleasantly surprised. This game will show some things.

Glad it's on TV!

Ah, that was a tough one. We fall on the road 81-78

Too many turnovers did us in for this one. We hung tough, shot the ball better in 2nd half and Osby should have probably driven the lane there late.

Ah well, I did like our overall performance.

I agree with Sooner95. Had a shot here in their house.

Excellent effort by our guys! They did hang tough and showed they could score some points. Game was fun to watch. Had my son watching with me at the end.

That was a tough one to lose. But I did like our performance and we are already beginning to show improvement. We had a chance to win on the road against a solid Arkansas team. Six of our eight games so far have been away from home. That is really going to help prepare us for the tougher part of the conference schedule.

It's highly unlikely we stay the same all season long, I think by January or February this team will be miles ahead of where they are right now. It was a nice effort. Had Powell not been playing out of his mind (career high 33 points) we could have won.

Also I don't think the turnovers were much to be concerned about considering the style Arky implements. They were 11th in the nation coming in to the game forcing something along the lines of 18 turnovers per game. Syracuse, the #6 team in the nation had 19 turnovers against them the other night.

Oh yeah, and here's a recap. http://wp.me/prUUN-OB8

better than I thought, shot well.

I disagree with the TO's though. Yes the pigs press, but I saw 3 - 4 TO's that were just straight BAD passes without pressure. I'm still not a big Neal fan. I know in the long run his ill advised 2 3pters didn't "hurt" just thought he pushed it a little too much.

Team is getting better, again, I like the 3 fr..they are showing promise. We need some BIG guys in the middle...at least one.

Figured this a loss at the beginning of the season.
