The University of Oklahoma and Texas A&M University have both accepted invitations to play in the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. CT at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.The game will mark the initial bowl meeting between the two schools and the second time Oklahoma has competed in the Cotton Bowl. FOX will televise the contest to a national audience.The Sooners will make their 46th bowl appearance, earning their 14th straight bowl bid under head coach Bob Stoops, the fifth-longest active streak in the nation. The Sooners have an all-time bowl record of 27-17-1. Oklahoma has won three straight bowl games under Stoops and is seeking to tie a school record with a fourth consecutive bowl victory.
