I agree. Offense made mistakes too. You are absolutely right about St. Mike though. None of them wanted to believe it was not only a bad move right now but also that Brent was just as good if not better. It is unfortunate so many felt the need to burn Venables on the message boards as I believe he was not only loyal to Bob but also Loyal to OU and this State. I surely hope he knows that he has as many fans as he does haters. It's possible that if we had let another Coach go and kept Brent...we are playing for all the marbles IMO.

I know lots of folks are in love with Blake. I really had hoped to see Josh have him expand his role as QB in close yardage by allowing him to use that arm we know he has. It didn't happen and more and more we saw him make mistakes and turnovers this year. I think he's done amazing considering most every Defense he faced knew he wasn't going to pass. He made an amazing play with 4 seconds on the clock against oSu. He's an amazing player. Can he put up 2-300 yards passing per game? We all want to believe he can. Lets hope we are right. Lets hope he can toss the pigskin for 500 a game.

It's a long drive from austin to kansas just to see your team choke.
Most of those Texas "fans" probably live in Kansas or KC, they are everywhere like cockroaches. Not many from Texas would actually travel to Kansas to see a game.
