After registering a 24-17 victory at TCU, the University of Oklahoma has claimed a share of the 2012 Big 12 Conference championship with an 8-1 record in conference play.It marks the eighth Big 12 title the Sooners have earned under head coach Bob Stoops. In total, OU now owns 44 conference football championships in its storied history. The Sooners previously claimed Big 12 Conference crowns in 2010, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2004, 2002 and 2000.
