Herbstreit really blasted them on GameDay about not showing up for that game.

We lost two huge Home Games this year and we still packed that last Home Game with a record Crowd. It's unbelievable that Stanford Fans did that last night. I had a little Respect for them when they came to El Paso to play us in the Sun Bowl but last night they brought less Fans at Home than they did for the Sun Bowl they lost to us. :D

I'm actually enjoying this game today.

The scoring hasn't really been there, but the offense is doing some pretty good things vs. The leagues best defense. They are rushing pretty solidly so far. They are passing kind of conversatively, but overall not bad.

The defense is playing very well so far. Not allowing Boykin to get away from them. Which makes it easier for the pass defense. And best of all, the DL has played pretty damn well so far.

And special teams. Wow. The kickoff coverage has been spectular so far. The punting blah, but the punt coverage pretty good as well.

And best of all, they are controlling TOP and the LOS for the most part.

Solid first half in a game many thought would be a trap game following the close OT game last week vs. OSU.

First half I would rate as a solid A-.

I mean its good sometimes hell most of the time. But it also is something the offense has been very predsictable at. When the fullbacks are pulling and the OL is zone blocking, they telegraph the direction where they are running.

I have never seen a misdirection out of the Belldozer. So the defense just learns to read the blocking direction and goes to filling holes....
