So I'm wandering the mall yesterday and head into the Apple Store for the wife... dude in there comments on my OU sweatshirt. Asked if I was a fan... "I are an alumni", I says to him. Anyway, fella asks if I'm happy about joining the Big10 along with Poke State - say's he's an Iowa fan and would love to have OU in the same conference.

Obviously, I'm a bit shocked, as I haven't heard this one. I would've been less shocked had he said "Stoops to Auburn".

Now, living in Philly keeps me about 5 years behind all things college football, but I would've figured something would've been said from you hillbilly land thieves.

Edit - clearly I can't see/read... just saw "conference re-alignment" thread.

heh, if they left, we could give them the Aggie treatment that Texas did with aTm

It wasn't OU and osu joining the B1G, it is Rutgers and Syracuse. Those Ioweeiean fans get facts twisted.

pretty much. when the biggest game (college team) in town is Temple, they have a little trouble understanding. my wife is a Temple grad... poor girl just doesn't get it. the PSU folks get it, but have been (understandably) quiet.
