I had a brick - too lazy to find an image. Then a Nokia 3195 (?), a Tilt and a Galaxy S. That's 4 phones in 18 years.
And I have unlimited data with AT&T. :)

Wow, I can't even remember my first cell phone, or even how many I've had. All I can remember is I got it in 1996 when I was pregnant with my daughter who is about to be old enough to get her learner's permit.

That'll be fun! I finally passed my test on the very day that I moved to Waco to attend Baylor when I was 18. I got my license that morning and headed south that evening.

It drove everyone at school nuts though because my parents bought me a brand new New Beetle when they first came out...they had put themselves on a waiting list to get it. Anyway, it sat in my driveway for 2 years and was only driven once from the dealership to our house. Everyone hated that I had a car sitting there with no real interest in getting my license.

I hated that first Nokia phone and didn't use it much. The first phone that I really heavily used was the Sony Ericcson T68, and I still think that's my favorite phone of them all. I LOVED that phone.

When I was much younger, I thought those Moto flip bricks were soooo freaking cool. I really wanted one when I "grew up" but it never occurred to me that by the time that happened the thing would be a fossil. My mom did have one of the bag phones though we called it a "car phone."

Since I would have felt like a ****** with it clipped on my belt, my moto brick corresponded with a baggy pant phase, chicken or the egg.

Gs3 is thin as hell. No baggy pants required.

I remember rocking my dad's bag phone when I just turned 16. It was amazing to be calling someone from the road. :D

I do remember my first cellphone. My company got me one of these so I could keep in touch with the market when I was out of the office. But I mostly remember using the thing while riding on the back of a motorcycle and running around Bangkok following the '91 coup and subsequent political uprising as if I were some sort of news correspondent. Funny thinking about that now.
