Now above 25%

And please remember this doesn't include state and local government spending. It is estimated when you include those the total government expenditures in this country approach 40+% of GDP.

And we wonder why we are going broke.

Now? It hit 25.2% in 2009...it has dropped to 24%... projections showing it dropping to 22%... :)

That article is a year and half old...

I wonder how much of the GDP the Fed stimulus programs account for?

According to a Bank Of America analaysis the Fed will have assets exceeding 40% of the GDP by 2015.

I wonder what the GDP would be if government spending and Federal Reserve spending weren't included?

What responsible adult counts their credit card spending as real wealth?
