I have podered this question at some length and tend to waver as to which is best. On one hand I thoroughly enjoy stomping the life out of the Cowpukes 66-6 or 42-14 but ,it is exsquisite joy to break rheir sheep-loving hearts the way we did Saturday. After reflection I think we should just go back to stomping an Orange mudhole in the Pukes.

I enjoyed it just as well if not better.

But to get there... definitely got my heart going. Can't do that often...

Max fun scenario: Beat them by a minimum of 40 for about 7-8 yrs in row, then next game break their hearts with a last second game winner.

Repeat.

Repeat.

Repeat.

I would like to go back to stomping them at home and winning a tighty in Stillwater.

That should keep them drinking heavily.

What is best in life?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their sheep.

Without question, you crush their dreams either way. It's just more of a bitch slap when it's 40-something to 14. Also, for each nail biter OU pulls out, their fans become more obnoxious about refs/cheating gooners/lucky/wait til next year/basketball season/dammit, basketball sucks, let's talk wrasslin!

Oh yeah. Get it over by halftime so we can enjoy the look of defeat on their faces longer.

My sentiments exactly. But it was great watching the OSU fans thinking they were going to win, and seeing their dream vanish in front of them. I hope all of the OU ticket owners got good money when they sold them to the enemy. But they missed a fantastic game, and I hope they regret selling them.

I watched a few of those celebration videos posted on youtube when Clay scored that "walk off" TD in OT. You could almost feel the total exuberation in the crowd. Now just negate that feeling and multiply by 10 and that's what the poke fans were feeling. This one will stick with both fan bases for a while - in a great way. Can't do those every year (cause we might not win it :O), but glad this one happened.

I kind of like the idea of stomping an orangehole in them, and that loss being the primary reason for them not accomplishing some other goal (like a good bowl game, killing their ranking or something).

Obliteration is certainly more fun... shoot, if the pokes keep it within 3 TDs they tend to claim some sort of moral victory.

Better to do the beatdown on them so they don't get uppity.

We did hang half a hundred on 'em, just like we did to WVU last week. Reminds me of the Switzer days.

You need a smiley for that? I can't believe how many Sooners can't enjoy nail biters. We are a bunch-o-weenies.

I think we have to have games like this sometimes. I would loved for it to be this way every time we play in Stoolwater so the cameras could lock in on Boone's face...:D

Having Games like this at Home is good too. We need to get our Crowd pumped up more. I hate the Dallas Cowboy Type Crowds where it's just expected that we will win. People need to get the old Crimson and Cream bubbling through their veins and we need to see Sooner Magic in the air.

Like I told some guy while walking back to the car after the game "we plunged our hand into their chest, pulled out their heart and showed it to them right before they died." This is one game it will take their fans a long time to get over.

But tough on the old heart...Minute,HELL! it was last second....last 4 seconds to be precise. IMHO osu was BEATEN the minute we forced overtime by grinding their D for 6+ minutes,17 plays, 86 yards and a TD.

I have to go with stomping versus a heartbreaker. However, I'll always take a win either way.
