Horn fans are livid that Jesse Palmer gave a horns down sign as an example of a Big XII hand sign. Some are comparing it to Lee Corso dropping the F bomb on the air. I know being an OU fan skews my perception of horn fans but what a bunch of whiny pansies.

Looks like the vast majority of the reaction was either "We (Texas) deserved it" or "No big deal," and that's on the damn internet. I'm sure there was more than on Horn fan that was livid, so your statement was technically true.

I would have accepted it easier if he said that it was OU's sign

The thread is only an example. I can't really post from the facebook walls of horn fans I know from high school who are pissed about it. The fact that is is even an issue and something that requires "a somber apology" is laughable to me. I wonder if ESPN "encouraged" him to do that.

The real question should be how much will Mack whine about it at his weekly presser next week.

They should thank him for making them relevant in sports news.
