I see that Tennessee, tOSU, and LSU are still future matchups, but weren't we supposed to play Air Force in there somewhere? Could that be why we have 3 open dates?

Wonder if Air Force was a casualty of the nine game conference schedule? Guess having 5 Saturdays in November expands the season next yr.

There are still 12 games next year, even with 3 open dates. It's just the way the calendar falls. Note the 1st game is the very last day of August.

Another quirk of the calendar - that 11/30 open date is indeed Thanksgiving weekend next year.

I'm looking forward to that Notre Dame game.

Air Force '10 was the back end of an unusually wide home/home set ('01 was the front end). It came about when a set w/ Arizona State fell through.

3 open dates???

scheduling change to not be out of sight/out of mind during "championship week".

I absolutely HATE the conference game in week 2. Ridiculous, in my opinion.

Thank the SEC for that.

Looks good. Glad that a SWC game will be our very last at Floyd Casey...fitting that it would be Texas. This schedule looks great.

Thank the SEC for that.

Huh?

At least you get ND out of the way early. Should you lose, it won't knock you out of the BCS race.

Don't thank the SEC ... unless you see it across the entire conference and I don;t think that is happening ... thank Notre Dame and the need to meet their scheduling demands.

I don't really know how the SEC has anything to do with our schedule.

I don't remember ever seeing Air Force on any future schedule, however, we are scheduled to play Army in 2018/2020.

Several home games in sept. We'll prob melt during those, considering we had such good weather this yr.

Bye week before ND?

I actually like conference games early, just not all of em. We should get a very young and depleted WVU at home early, much less dangerous

Expect some shifting around, UT has the OSU game in Austin scheduled for the same weekend as the Formula 1 race, Dodds has publicly stated they will try to do everything to have a open date (like this year) or an away game on that weekend. The Austin hotel market was crazy enough this weekend with no UT home game, it couldn't handle both on the same weekend. They also have the K-State game scheduled in Austin the same weekend as the ALMS race in September.

true, and arent they trying to put OU v osu on Turkey Day weekend each year?

Look at it another way...how often you think those boys from WVU have played in 100* temps? OU has the advantage of conditioning in that all summer long.

I love that our bye weeks seem to be evenly spaced.

Bye before both ND and Ok last. I like it!

The road game slate toward the end sucks... but it is what it is.

it looks pretty good with open dates before big games.
