Is it just me? Or does it seem we lose the close ones? Well, we won this thing! Ugly ... ugly ... ugly in a lot of ways.

But if I had to bet money, I would have bet we lose because we always seem (to me) to lose games that are close.

But we won. And that was a good win.

Give it up to LJ, he was the best player we had tonight!

Yeah, Landry was clutch on the road. I know WVU has a terrible defense but the Landry we usually see in tough spots would've made some huge mistake. He was fantastic tonight.

I was telling everyone the same thing. It feels amazing to be on the winning side of things, especially with a last second drive.

I won't be able to sleep for a week!

Yeah the closest game we have won trailing a touchdown(well 5 points) with 2.53 to go in 4thQ.
Glad we won. We seriously need OL/DL talent.

When was the last time we won on a drive in the last minute?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of center snap that was from Ikard on that critical 3rd down. It looked like on replay that he just missed the ball with his hand while trying to hike the ball back to Landry. I've seen centers hike it over the QB's head and to one side or the other, but I've never seen that pitiful a snap from a center. If they did a "come'on man" for CFB that would have to be on it.

We won. That's all that matters.

This game reminded me of one from the Switzer era:
- Dominate
- Hang a half a hundred on 'em
- Take the 'W' home.

:D

From ESPN:

It marked the first time in 16 tries that Oklahoma (8-2, 6-1 Big 12) overcame a fourth-quarter deficit to win dating to 2007.

I didn't know it had been that many games, but I shouldn't be surprised. It has certainly felt like it's been forever. I'm still pumped!

Remember in the good old days when Switzer was here and we would win in all of our blowouts?

That was awesome.

Man, I got flustered with some of Landry's antics, but I've got to hand it to him. When the chips were down, he threw the perfect pass & Stills ran the perfect pattern. Those two do well together.

Happy how the Sooners didn't give up & kept grinding. it paid off. Defense sure made Tavon Austin look like a Heisman candidate, but maybe he's that good. Where's he been hiding & why haven't we heard more about him?

Now about the officiating. Not so good. There were two key calls that went against OU that even the TV announcers said sucked. One was the pass inteference that wasn't (which gave them a score), and the other was the fumble that wasn't called as such, and they kept the ball when they shouldn't have. I know WVU felt they should've got an inteference call when they didn't, but replay showed the no call was correct.

Goes to show Good field goal kickers are important. Glad Honeycutt connected eary on.

First time in 16 tries and the first time since 2007... that is a very long time.

What a finish though... I'm still wide awake and it's 2 in the morning here on the east coast.
