We have to beat OSU and TCU first. And after our game tonight I wouldn't bet on OU in either game.

I think I'd feel dirty pulling for the horns. Besides, we still got work to do - I didn't see a D tonight that looks like it will hinder the pokes too much.

Fans can do as they please. I don't get paid 5 million a year to give up 49 points and 800 yards in a single game.

I think texas will roll over rather than let us win the conference.

I think texas will roll over rather than let us win the conference. *&^%est game I've ever seen. Didn't know any team could give up 800 yards and then still win the game (which may be an NCAA record), and then tie for the conference lead to boot. They went thru our D like &^%$ thru a goose in the 2nd half.

I will openly pull for the whorns. We win out (which I really think we will), we will need the whorns to beat the Cats.

Our defense is going to have to play a "LOT" better if we are going to win out.

And he was very fast - he pulled away from all our DBs on one play or another.

Chelf is not Geno.

Randle is not Austin.

Stewart is not Bailey.

It will be senior day.

We will beat the Pukes.

Randle is a decent back.... he's a power runner up the middle so we'll have to change our schemes for that.

Tavon had the moves though, I have to admit. Out-juke Jefferson... that is very hard to do. I sure hope he goes pro next year.

Decent? Isn't he the best in the conference statistically? but we still have to beat them and TCU. Let's not get ahead.

I wanted kstate to win it all and ou to win out. Now i guess it really doesnt matter to me after yesterday.

But bob cant go two years sans big 12 championship and expect fans to be happy and dump another pay raise in his lap. Sooner fans hve been conditioned now to want more

IF OU and Kstate win out and they win the tiebreaker, are we co-champs? Officially...big 12 rules wise?

Effective June 2011

The following procedure will determine the Big 12 Conference representative to the Bowl Championship Series in the event of a first-place tie:
If two teams are tied, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative.

What tie breaker is there? The conference loss we have is against Kstate... If they beat Texas its their's. You win it on the field? And we lost.... On our field.

i don't see any reason we wouldn't get an at-large bid. the SEC only gets 2 teams in :)

6 teams ahead of us are SEC teams, and there is no non-AQ team to take a slot, other than Notre Dame, i don't think

seems it would shake out like:

BCS Championship Game - Bama/ND

Orange - FSU/Louisville
Sugar - LSU - ?
Fiesta - KSU - ?
Rose - Oregon/Nebraska

seems like it would be us and Clemson to fill those ?'s

Same asterisk can be applied to our respective outcomes against Baylor. Fact is, this is how a league w/ no CCG operates. A lot of people forget that OU has several co-championships from the Big 8 days, & a few of those ('76 & '78 come to mind) are against teams that OU lost to.

the only LSU fans i had problems with were like half way up the state driving back after the game

i can handle a little taunting and "tiger bait". mostly they were there to party and have a good time.

i'd rather not be at an LSU home game though. my guess on LSU is that FSU beats Florida, and Bama beats UGA

who really knows though. apparently anything can happen

i forgot about Stanford, Jerry Palm didn't. agrees about LSU in NOLA though... still better than Aggies in Glendale though.

Oh, I know. And in 20 years, nobody will remember it was a co-championship. BUT, I'd rather win it outright. I won't go out of my way to cheer on the whorns, but I will be happy if they win. We already beat the **** out of them, so a whorn win means little joy for them, but helps us a lot.

I'm not worried about TCU, but OSU is a true concern. The coaching has really improved, and it doesn't seem to matter which QB is in. I just hope the defense steps it up, and hit HARDER!! That is when the receivers start dropping balls, when they have had a few REALLY HARD hits.....and stop the running back.....

I am sure Landry wants to redeem himself from last year's game, but OU was truly hampered with all of the key players out (Ryan Broyles, etc..).
