RUSH LIMBAUGH is my clone!

The Public schools and the MSM and Entertainment industry are often tagged as culprits for the misinformation that people acquire. The Public Education industry has lots more culpability for this than many people realize. This from the Limbaugh show today:

Ifn he wuz intelligent, as opposed to locked into some dogma
that is irrelevant to the issue, honestly, I'd listen to the guy.
Years ago, I did listen to him but he went farther off the edge
than anyone could understand. He lost me completely when,
with his tv show, that all men had to be in sport coat and tie
to even get into the audience. Now , I wouldn't pizz on him
ifn he wuz on fire, but that's just me...

RLIMC, bless 'em all and more power to 'em. I have HONESTLY tried
so many times, because I wanted to be informed before I threw rocks
at anyone, but this guy is so far over any semblance of sanity, at least
imo, just couldn't do it.

Isn't he supposed to be in costa rica now? How is he still broadcasting from the united states?

Not having read what Limbaugh has to say, and based only on the Parrot's typically sensationalist thread title, I think THIS may be a classic example of a strawman argument. The bogus position (strawman) attributed to Rush's targets, one easy to defeat, is the "fear and hatred of capitalism" Who fears and hates capitalism? Obama? Everyone who voted for him? RINOs? Everyone who doesn't like Rush? Well I don't know, but I'd go out on a limb to say that Rush's "scared haters" probably include a whole lot of capitalists who know the virtue of private enterprise but who just happen to disagree with Rush about something other than that. Just my assumption, mind you.

Call people names? Wow, the guy you're defending does more name calling
than anyone else in the media,'cept maybe Ms Coulter.

Oh, btw, what names did I call him?

settle down man, I was just asking a question. You settle down. The election is over, and we ARE a new country. I didn't know if you were saying you thought Limbaugh was in Costa Rica in jest, or whether you heard it from someone that you possibly believe. (At some point he might leave the country, as many would, esp. if they can afford to be gone for an extended period) I was just suggesting that whoever said that should be further examined as a reliable source of info.

Sorry 'bout the "ifn", weak attempt at humor. As to the names, those are
your twists to what I said. And, as to listening to him, when some of the things
he says are picked up by the Internet (YouTube) and by the MSM and played
over and over, then, yes I do listen to him. And to my earlier points about
times past, I did tune into to him because I thought he was a comedian and
I enjoy laughing, like a lot of folks, and he "evolved" into someone that was
no longer funny to me. He became arrogant, condescending and, in some cases,
really mean spirited. The topping on the cake was with his doctor shopping to
further enable his addiction to pain killers and his hyprocritical diatribes toward
drug addicts. So, while my current exposure is really the internet and MSM, my
opinion of him is one of intense dislike. Most of the other RWers on the radio and
on Fox are Limbaugh wannabes, imo.

It was like he then made a division of us vs them with the dress code and flag pins. It's something that the GOP continues to do that is a huge mistake. Should we expect certain dress codes? I believe there still is a few instances where dressing up is an important way to show respect, but does everyone have to look so Communist by wearing the same outfits? I think they miss just how creepy they are when they show up to the Iowa Caucuses in $4000 suits and then roll up their Oxford pinpoint shirt sleeves to cram corn dogs down their pie holes to try and make people think they are regular Joes who are really headed to Washington for the benefit of small business.

ST, been to more than a few caucuses and haven't seen ANY corn dogs, mostly
pastry, sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks. Now, showing up at the IA State
Fair on the stump is a different story. Nearly all the politicians who do come
to the Fair speak at a Des Moines Register sponsored straw bale speech,( where
Romney made is "corporations are people" gaffe) and they are VERY close to the
crowd, with unfiltered heckling and Q and A. Your point about expensive suits
is well taken...Santorum, John Edwards and some others come to mind.

Iowans, with their caucuses in the winter and straw poll in the summer most of
the time is quite effective in winnowing the candidate field.

Okay, RLIMC, it is clear that being truthful and civil with and to you is unsuccessful.
It is also clear that there is confusion as to whether Rush is your clone or are you his.
In my 67 years on this earth I have been mostly successful in dealing with most every
personality with which I'm confronted. I have to honestly tell you that you have succeeded
where so many others have not. I am convinced that you are locked in an inescapeable
confine that restricts common sense, logic, friendliness and any sense of willingness to
accept a viewpoint that differs with yours. Having said that, here is what is not transparent
in the least, and in language you can surely comprehend, F*** you, the horse you rode in on
and keep your azz in Phoenix, where, luckily, the summer sun will bake the aforementioned azz.

Lest there be any misunderstanding, there is NO DOUBT that you are Rush's clone!

Yeah, it is an opinion board and you have mine.

If you want people to stop playing "the stupid card" you should stop dealing it.
