The Sooner's will open with UTEP in the first game on November 22nd at 6:00pm CT

They will play UT-Arlington as the lone season game before the tournament (on November 16th).

Me too! It's about this time of the year that I kind of start paying attention to college hoops. It's a nice mix of football and hoops, and the holiday tourneys always give you something to watch when football is not on.

Nice write-up. I'm not sure OU is a sleeper. I realize two games isn't enough to tell the complete story but we still have some holes. Point guard play is a question. Clark is at best an inconsistent performer. Pledger has a tendency to go cold. M’Baye does look like he could be a big time player. I'm looking forward to seeing them against UTEP tonight.

Not impressed with WVU at all. Marist wasn't really a challenge, but I expect WVU to get booted in the next round. They played Fresno State last week, and were never in the game. Although, they did look pretty good against Marist. We'll see...

Oh, and wow has Vandy dropped off.

Yea, WV got throttled by Gonzaga to start the season..I know the Zags are good, but I'm not sure they are THAT good.

Sooners are cruising so far this evening. I'm looking forward to them playing someone much better next round.

We hang on for the win, 68-61. Pretty sloppy second half and let a scrappy team hang around.

We play Clemson/Zags winner tomorrow @ 7:30pm EST on ESPN2. Shall see what we are made of.
