i think i'm going to do my own website (at least try). does anyone have suggestions on what software is good, bug free, and easy to use/learn? this website is my business website if it makes a difference.

Dream weaver is pretty freakin easy to use. Not cheap though.

I use visual studio (there is a free version of it on the web) mainly because of intellisense on jquery. If you are trying to learn websites though I'd highly suggest you start with knockoutjs and use their tutorial site (which is 3 kinds of awesome).

Details! Is knockoutjs a wedsite? I've always had interest in web design, but only as a hobby. Therefore, I've never spent any real time or money for anything. Is that a good place for a newb?
