The quarterback takes hits, she straight arms, she even stretches the ball over the goal line on one score. Amazing.
Her stats for season: 1,911 rushing yards, 8.2 yards-per carry, and 25 touchdowns (also, 65 tackles), while playing in the Gremlin age group (mostly nine year-olds) of the Ute Conference.
She's the freakin' Galloping Ghost (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Grange) of the Gremlin League.
Via USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/11/06/girl-youth-football-star/1686747/):

According to her father Brent, who posted the video, there were 172 kids in her district who tried out for a Gremlin team. During tryouts, Sam tested the fastest in every single speed and agility drill.

It's pretty amazing that she cuts back the way she does at 9 friggin years old.

He should at least consider teaching her Lacrosse and sending her for a full ride at some Ivy League School if she's still got those moves then. She is fun to watch. Good video.

Not really surprised really at that age..I coach boys and girls sports both in that age, and the girls mature so much faster than the boys early that the girls can do a lot more.

She looks like she has SEC speed. ... This video should be shown to any parent afraid to let their son play football.

THIS.

There was a little girl on my son's baseball team from when he played tee-ball up until about age 11. She was one of (if not the best) overall athletes on the team. Then all the boys started to hit puberty, and she just couldn't keep up anymore. She moved to softball and has kicked ***. She's a senior now, and has a few offers to play D-1 softball (not to OU unfortunately). The best part is that she kept in touch with all the boys she played with/against, and while most of the girls her age are nervous wrecks around the boys, she's got all the confidence in the world. And she's a beautiful young woman to boot. Her dad and I still talk, and he said putting her in a 'boys' sport was the best thing he did for her confidence.
