I keep getting emails from the Chiefs after buying the OU-KU at Arrowhead tickets from them, it amazed me (and some Broncos season ticket holders in my office) just how cheap you could get season tickets for this season.

Well, Pioli wasn't there under Vermeil, Carl Peterson was the GM and Lamar Hunt was still alive when Vermeil was there. Clark Hunt and Pioli are there now and don't seem to have the same touch as his father and Peterson.
