The Docs already gave me my Meds for after . I got a bottle full of Hydrocodone . So just wanted Yall to know that If There starts to be Long Crazy rambling posts from me. My account hasnt been hijacked, Im just gonna be under the influence of Pills

I've used them after a couple of different surgeries, but they put me to sleep instead of making me come on here and post meaningless crap all night long... :biggrin:

You know I am so happy that you were able to kick those dayum things to the curb. Hey, if you need the pain med, take it. You only have enough for the appropriate time you will need them unless you have complications, which I'm sure you won't.

Vet, on yer side, take stuff ifn ya feel the need. When I had my shoulder
replaced the doc gave my a script of some strong stuff. Never took it. My
rehab tech was a chick and dayum good. Got nearly 99% movement in my
shoulder. She told me that cause I did what she told me and dint use that
stuff that I was good. You do what they tell ya and when they tell ya!

I once heard a guy had this done and the Doctor took out to much skin and wasn't able to reuse the skin he had removed so he called in a few of the other Doctors on Staff as he couldn't just suture the patient back up like he was. They all discussed it and decided the best thing was to do a graft. After a bit of looking at the possible areas to get a decent graft specimen, they decided that the fellas uncircumcised area of his penis would be the perfect area to use for grafting back the needed skin around the eye. The patient came out fine albeit....he was a bit ****-eyed after that.

I got a call this afternoon from the Surgeon who operated just checking up on me . Never expected that at all. Maybe a nurse or someone But not the Doctor himself

30 yrs ago I walked out several times .
Hell Now if my appointment is say 2 PM im usually out no later than 2:30 or 2"45

The Places are Clean and the People that work there actually seem to care , Far different from before

attending worked really screwy shifts. They'd work 24-36 hours
straight and be sure to be sleep deprived and observed by more
alert folks and then evaluated as to how well they handled ****.
The only thing that was good that I remember was that one of
them asked if I wanted them to do "heroic things" to preserve
and extend life. My brother and I said no and to make sure he
was comfortable. They agreed. I left that night and he passed
two days later.

Never saw any thing that supported some of the bad stuff that
I've heard about how the VA treats our warriors, but, then that
was many years ago.

30 years ago the One in OKC was a dump as was the one in Muskogee
Thats about the only 2 I ever dealt with
My dad died in the one in Muskogee. in 92 and it was still a dump but improving.
I remember walking down a hall and saw a Patient layin in a bed in a side room neked as hell unattended. I raised all kinds of hell cause it was MY Dad they had just parked there with no thot of decency or care

They do that because it isn't just a little thing you had done and the risks are very real. Sounds like you have a very good Doctor. I'm glad things are going well.

The last 10-15 years they are INMHO Far superior To Private practice

Back when I had a "Fee Basis" card Id see the Private Doc and wait up to 3 hours for him and HE was a Nam vet.

Now Im in an out in under an hour and the Docs are Top Notch
