Like I said in the game thread, Rhodes has been yuuking it up with his referee buddies the whole freakin game!!!!!! I've never seen anything like it. :mad:

The better teams have just got to battle through it.

Hell, they (ISU) got 30 yards on penalties in that last drive. The last drive for ISU went 52 yards....hmmmm

I watched the game on tv while babysitting my grandson and I was
barking at the screen....FOUR straight spots of the ball, anywhere
from 1 1/2 yards to a 1/2 yard in favor of the Cyclones...the long
one took away a first down. The refs blew to PI penalties, one for
each side, and, geez, so much yellow on the field I thought Jack
Trice was a crime scene.

My son and his wife are both ISU alums, that's why I get my grandson
on game days and, frankly, I pull for the Cyclones on all things, except
Sooners, nobody er nuthin gets in ahead of the Sooners. So, I gotta
think that Rhodes oughta just kinda duck his head...

At one point, OU had 7 penalties for 77 yards, and ISU had 1 for 5. I don't know what they ended up with, but apparently we have played the best (most disciplined) two teams back to back*. I think Notre Dame and ISU had 3 penalties between the two, and OU has had somewhere in the area of 16-17.
