...especially New Jersey per Gov. Christie. In other news, GOP Candidate for President Gov Romney of either Massachusetts or Utah has become a Community Organizer in Dayton, Ohio.

Everything seems to have gone full circle before the Election. Amazing.

The Socialist has not saved a single life, he just talks on an ipod program. Romney on the other hand is the real deal...

Yes he did. You are so wrong. Obama saved the entire East Coast while Romney road out the storm in his prepper unit he bought in Ohio just in case of the post apocalypse aftermath of the Storm.

Stoop, if Obama somehow manages to win re-election I am going to take a certain amount of sadistic pleasure watching him thrash about with a deer-in-the headlites look as his poll numbers plummet because he is unable to figure out that more government intervention just isn't going to get the economy turned around. I will also enjoy the gnashing of teeth and the attempts to somehow continue to blame Bush for the train wreck headed this way by his fervent, clueless supporters.

It wasn't lost on me either that at the benefit Romney was asking folks that had plenty to give to those that didn't have as much.

It smacked of...............................Socialism.

I'm gonna wake up...have some breakfast and take a big dump and find a copy of "W" that obviously should be found at any old book store now that the GOP has completely ignored he was a 2 term POTUS before President Obama took office. That book is cheaper than toilet paper.

What's the deal with Romney campaigning to get rid of FEMA and let the States clean up their own disasters?

Same deal as Obama was going to do in sequestration. He was slashing FEMA.

FEMAs only been around since Carter. Wonder how we survived disasters before 1976.

That's news to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Sequestion a Congress thing, not the President's?

I've never heard of Obama getting rid of FEMA, whereas Romney campaigned on it.

Asking one to give to another is.................................charity.
Taking from one to give to another is ........................socialism (or theft if you prefer).

He wasn't getting rid of it, just slashing the funding.

Technically, Congress does all of the spending. But of course, POTUS gets a say.

Its one of those easy cuts we were talking about in another thread. It doesn't cost votes or power and if more money is needed for FEMA, they will get it. Its one of those safe as safe can be on paper, wink, wink, nod, nod cuts.

Still, he does propose it.

Nope. It was a compromise between the Senate, HoR and Obama since they couldn't agree to a formal budget. However, I do understand your confusion since Obama has been AWOL on his responsibility to outline a budget that would garner any support in Congress. His last budget was voted down 99-0 in the Senate.

Yes, he did it all by himself just like he killed Bin Laden all by himself.

I've dealt with fema. It ain't purty. If'n ya need a place to stay cause yurs is broke, you go to yur family. If yur family can't hep you go to yur church or the red cross. fema will get back to you in a couple of months.

Never, ever expect the gubmint to help when family or faith can and will do a better job. Only fools expect the gubmint to be able to do it better.

So whaddya do when your church and family are flooded out also?

Just go to the ER? According to Romney that's the cure for everything.

It seems Chris Christie is changing his tune about Obama real quick.

During a disaster like this all politicos make nice to act like they are working together "for the good of the people." It's just like when Isaac came through here. Gov Jindal goes out of his way to thank Obama and the feds for their support. Then a week later he's blasting him again. Don't confuse theatre for support.

How come Romney's decided to not answer reporter's questions? Even Fox can't get him to talk?

About FEMA. About the GM and Jeep ads.

I smell yet another flip brewing.

So when Christie comes out again and says Romney is better for the job, well you still value his opinion as much then as you seem to now?

Or will he then go back to just being a lying politician?
