I think its more the fact that ND picked up that he was peeking into the backfield in man to man. Basically they pushed him until he peeked and then cut the route off.

He was still right there on almost every coverage. I guess that split second allowed enough time to get the ball.

I thought Colvin played fine. Their QB just played really well and placed the ball in great locations. I kept waiting for him to turn the ball over but he never did and that was helped by us getting zero pressure on him. At all.
