The passing game has looked very good despite only 6 points. I think we get things rolling the 2nd half, and win easily.

You cannot throw a flag retrospectively like that, especially a judgment call such as holding. It has to be immediately during the play and not afterward.

We need to keep chugging along on defense. And keep throwing the ball. NDs defense was getting tired by halftime. Keep doing it. But stop running the ball so much. Yes, we want to keep them honest. But go 2 passes for every one rushing attempt.

Two mistakkes has bit us so far. That BS flag on a TD and a snap when Jones was audibling that coswt us our first drive.

The boys have settled in...now time to ****ing punish ND and the refs if they are in our way!

Totally agree we started running too much in the 2nd. Try one every 3rd or 4th snap and if we can't get 4+ yds, go back to the pass. We ran 27 plays in the 1st qtr and it was starting to show on their D. I don't know how many we ran in the 2nd, but it was much less as we got in poor down and distance trying to run. I did like the play mix on the last drive as it drained the clock and made sure ND didn't get a final chance, but didn't like the other 2nd qtr play calling. We are playing ND's type of game, hope we can change that in the next half.
