...Im not clear whether or not we MUST win the conference championship in or order to go to the MNC game.

But if KSU were to lose a cheap game late in the year, and we had beaten # 5 ND and only had 1 loss...AND of course all the teams that needed to lose, lost. Would we get to play in Miami?
Because I think its very possible for us to impress the heck out of everyone with big decisive wins for the rest of the year and move up in Coaches Poll. IF KSU lost late our "formula" would prolly put us ahead of them in the BCS unless there is some stipulation that conference championship is a must.

It's not necessary. See Alabama last year.

There is no Conf Champ requirement...see last years all SEC game.

Depends on when they lose and who it's to. But, yes, we can pass them.

Tech would be the best scenario. That and they win out. I think voters would look at how we play in the KSU gam and see items close and we had 3 TO's. we destroyed tech.

SEC bias has everything to do with that.

Does it really?

See 2003 oklahoma
See 2001 nebraska

Neither of them were conference champs either.

Probable if we win out because of the "who lost last" unofficial rule. And if KSU were to drop one, it would be to a weaker team than we did. Doesn't mean we would pass other teams.
