For some reason that name popped into my head as I was half awake this morning. But I just can't place it. I seem to think the name is associated with Oklahoma City TV or radio from the 1960s or 70s? I'm pretty sure someone out there knows who I am taking about. Please enlighten me.

Was it Foreman Scotty or something? [EDIT: Not Foreman Scotty; that was Steve Powell.]

Galen Stacy was all over the board on TV, news shows, local variety shows, commercials.

I do! Bob Jenni, super herpetologist (snake guy).

The hot and heavy rumor when I was a kid (he came to Barnes Elementary once or twice) was that he was totally immune to snake venom. That he'd been bit jackin' around with snakes so many times, he was essentially snake-proof.
