The only thing Bevo has ever pulled is 18 hours of Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzs per day.

The great thing about having a rivalry like OU/Texas is that when you beat them, it takes a little bit of the sting out of any loss you may have had. Of course in the case of Texas, losing to us, and in such an embarrassing way, makes the loss they had hurt even worse. :)

Their suffering sustains me -- vicariously, and just about any other way you can imagine.

I believe the word you all want is "Schadenfreude (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude)." Although, their definition of "Roman holiday" seems more apt for the RRR...

An English expression with a similar meaning is "Roman holiday", a metaphor taken from the poem Childe Harold's Pilgrimage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Childe_Harold%27s_Pilgrimage) by George Gordon, Lord Byron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Gordon,_Lord_Byron), where a gladiator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladiator) in Ancient Rome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Rome) expects to be "butcher'd to make a Roman holiday" while the audience would take pleasure from watching his suffering. The term suggests debauchery and disorder in addition to sadistic enjoyment.

No matter what you call it, I am still basking in delight over texass misfortune.

I've always felt the Texas game is 50% of the season.

You want to win at least a conference championship, if not a national championship.

And you want to beat Texas.

another one on OB

it's like clockwork that Stoops boys come into the Cotton Bowl foaming at the mouth like a bunch of rabid dogs while our guys look like they want to go chase butterflys

^^^^ That's funny.

But true. I made the comment prior to the game that texas players were going through the motions in warm-ups and just walked in. OU players were excited and jumping around and ran off.

I wish we were the rabid dogs EVERY game. Sometimes I see butterflies in the air. We seemed to be a complete different team last week. A team that would woop the *** of anyone that lined up against them. Defenders were laying people out, special teams were laying people out, and our RB's were blowing over their defense instead of getting tackled. It seemed like a whorn was hurt every 3rd play and we didn't give a damn. It was just blood in the water. That's the OU I want every game. Come on.
