I think it looked bad for Obama when the African American person in the audience said she was so enthusiastic in 2008 but has been disappointed in his term, and asked why she should vote for him in 2012.

Also, Romney's debate coach should tell Romney to stop asking Obama questions, expecting him to actually answer -- like the pension question. Romney should stick with hammering Obama on the price of gasoline now as compared to 2008, unemployment, and slow growth in economic activity.

He tried to "hammer" on the price of gas and Obama gave the correct
answer...an economy in freefall pulled down the price of gas (I'll remind
everyone here that gas was over $4.oo a gallon in 2008 and ask who was
president then?) Fact is, a president, any president, has no effect on gas
prices.

Romney's debate coach should remind him that he is a candidate for president
of the USA, not an I'm-a-used-to-getting-my-way CEO interviewing for a new
position...I'm paraphrasing here two different undecideds interviewed on tv.

Romney walked into the pension question with both eyes very wide open and
got punched for it.

Most people seemed to forget about the freefall of job losses at the end of Dubya
and just how hard it is to turn around that kind of mess. Dubya took eight years
to blow the surplus by the big tax cuts, unfunded wars, unfunded prescription drug
program and so on. America is a country of "instant gratification". We want what
we want RIGHT EFFING NOW!

LOL!! No. The only fact is, you leftist weren't saying that 4 years ago when the 'Oil Man', as Obama calls him, was in office.

It was the exact opposite. When W was in office, gas was $3 a gallon because the oil man wanted prices high so he could get rich! Four years ago, in spite of being pictured as the most ignorant person on Earth, he single handedly caused the housing market to crash (which is truly on the dems shoulder) started two wars (which the vast majority of dems voted for, including your last presidential nominee and the current VP) and bailed out the banking industry (which was a bill the vast majority of dems voted for) - this same industry by the way, is now running the country via the Obama admin and the Obama admin has refused to bring a single criminal charge against anyone in it. -- perhaps because they are all working for him now on the tax payer dollar?

No, Landrun, four years ago this "leftist" was wondering why gas would go
up 10 cents at a time and only come back down usually 2 cents at a time.
Most people, including those of you on the right, know that gas prices are
influenced by outside influences, e.g. seasonal changes, refinery explosions,
hurricanes, Middle East tensions.

I've learned that most on this board are completely immersed in clearly
right of center dogma and, rarely, is anyone willing to have any sort of
discussion that doesn't include some sort of name calling or shout down
of an opposing viewpoint. Naively, I joined this board out of my love
of the Sooners and participated in exchanges in Obamafest out of
curiosity. I learned a good deal about oil/gas from Okie52, in particular,
and have laughed even more at and with Vet. Over time, I have presented
facts in support of my views and get mostly diatribe in return. It really is
no fun, when, on an opinion board, one's opinion is regarded as always
wrong or always out of step. No, not looking for love, if I was, it sure as
hell wouldn't be here. After a while, enough is enough.

Hey Vet!
If my binder is made of Walmart spandex, is that an indication that my portfolio is expanding???
Or, is it just that more womens want to be in my binder?
