I know there have been a few whorn crowd shots posted (including potty mouth girl), but does anyone have a good "stunned whorn"?

There are quite a few out there, as you can imagine. This one is my contribution...

I liked this one because it was late in the game, plus he even bought a horn golf towel and a RRR t-shirt. I wonder if he'll ever wear it? :D

What was really special about her is that the whole football world
read her lips, but even better was the fact that she covered her
face after she realized what had transpired...

A stroke on her right side, but not enough to distract from an itchy nose. :)

The "Oh-my-gosh" lady from a couple yrs ago is still my favorite. Like some of you and Potty mouth, I was impressed that a nice looking lady took college football that much to heart. My nice looking wife would maybe frown a bit and ask if we could go ahead and leave to beat the traffic!

Well, the Bible does say that Peter swore the third time he denied that he knew Christ.

It didn't say he was hot though. I think she gets a pass for knowing who to go to once she's done being a Whorn. It worked for Mary the whore in the Bible. I would have gone with Mary Magdalen but many argue that they were different Women. Maybe this young Whorn just needs 7 Deadly Sins Removed?

It's been kind of interesting watching this thread and the number of people who seem surprised/upset/offended/whatever with her use of profanity.
Really?
Get out much?
I don't think the f-bomb even counts as profanity anymore. I know it's been in common use without much controversy since the late 1960's.
And it is such a versatile word! It shouldn't be locked up in the closet. No! let it out and let it run free.
Potty Girl used the language with precision and selected exactly the word which most accurately expressed her emotion and evaluation of the Horn team at the moment. Few other words would have come close.

I don't remember for sure, but I think my sister might have dropped the bomb in St. Peters when her first son's diaper leaked on her. I know it was a moment of hilarity for the rest of the family.
And, happily, resulted in a rejiggering of the Tourist site vs. outdoor cafe with lots of wine ratio for me, dad and bro in law as the wimmens left us in disgust.

Thankfully, I have never heard my kids say that word. They say "freaking" and "Oh freak," and yes they got that from me. They even know when I type WTF, that I mean What the freak. F'n is Freakin.' They would totally be shocked to hear me, or their father say that. He has never sweared, except once; and we all remember that day very well. :D

I'll admit it. There are times when I have a potty mouth. There are times when my 19yo son has a potty mouth and I'm sure its partly because he has heard me off and on through the years. I honestly think that if I had been in that girl's shoes (thankfully I'm NOT a whorn fan) I would have reacted the same way. Hell, if she were one of my children I wouldn't be ashamed of that moment because it came from the heart and I would be proud that my daughter loved football as much as I did. (however I would be very, very ashamed of one of my children for being whorns.... that there is just plain bad parenting)

Sh*t indeed does happen. Even in Church. Even in St. Peters. He even grants forgiveness. It's why you all weren't struck by lightning and got to go eat drink and be merry.

Now see, that there is a funny story. I think there's a BIG difference between accidentally swearing in church than there is in going in and cursing on purpose in an act of defiance and to fling it in someone's face.

I still drop the f-bomb. I try to avoid it but it took roots working around a bunch of men on job sites, work shops, aircraft hangars and even Accounting Department were some of the Women there I worked with could make the Devil himself blush. I'm better than I used to be but it still pops out like it did for that young lady.

One fascinating thing is that in some languages there really isn't profanity per se. They tend to have more flowery curses like "You got golden balls, or what?" (Japanese) or "You're just an old turtle's egg!" (Chinese).
What's even more fascinating is how quickly these linguistically bereft folk take to good old Anglo-Saxon cursing when exposed to it. And what word is often the first to be embraced? You got it: the F-bomb.

If Asia gave to the world low defect manufacturing culture, well, by God, Northern Europe gave the world ripe, vibrant cursing.

And who's to say which, ultimately, will prove more long lasting or more valuable?

I hate to admit this, but there are moments when nothing but the F word is appropriate. There's just something inherently satisfying about dragging it out almost into 2 syllables and emphasizing with great enthusiasm the hard "ck" at the end of the word.

Yep, it's those great gutteral vowels and hard, aggressive consonant clusters that make the Old English words so wonderful.
I was trying to explain word value to a young man who was writing his college application a couple of years ago and the comparison hit me. So I told him, think about the difference in feeling between 'fornicate' and 'f*ck'. He got it.

clearly, none of you have ever spent time on a navy ship.

after 4 1/2 years in the navy, and returning to OU, it was work NOT to have at least 1 cuss word in every sentence - seriously. it becomes part of the way you speak. thankfully, my filter works pretty well. but when it comes out, it's usually pretty special.

with that, kudos to the girl for speaking her mind. big deal... she cursed. how many of us have never dropped a healthy F*#K at OU/texas? mine still echo in the cotton bowl from '89, '90, '91, '92, '94, '98.
