LJ is as popular in Austin as Q.

Landry haters need to give their props to the guy at least for what he's done against Texas alone.

Landry has had fantastic career against Texas.

My concern with Landry is his lack of consistency. His game is bipolar, either very good or very bad. No way to predict which player will show up. The good is very good and the bad is awful.

But this was the entire team performing well, not just Landry. When the defense plays well, it takes pressure off th offense and vice versa. It changes the game plan. It's fun to watch.

If we were satisfied just beating a rival (albeit a struggling one), then fine. The issue is we have National Title aspirations. Gotta perform against the soft teams and those that hit you in the mouth.

Good win today. Time to move on.

Isn't it amazing that when we lose Landry has no consistency but when we win....it's the entire Team that played well?

Landry played fine today and he didnt have to be Sam bradford with the way we ran the ball.

Landry was mediocre today. Had a few nice throws, one horrible INT, a couple just bad throws.

He's a Colt McCoy tackle away from being 4-0 against Texas and it really doesn't matter. Today's win is due to the defense and the play of both lines, an area I thought would be our weakness in this game.

Bob should just play Allen and save Bell for Dozing.

FWIW those aren't his career numbers vs Texas.

Yep. Still ready for him to move on. Like I said in another post. All he really did was manage the game well. Bell did the heavy lifting inside the 10. He made some nice throws, but it was mostly just the guys around him making plays once they got the ball (kind of has always been the case since he's been QB).

Still not comfortable with Landry in pressure situations. Thankfully, he didn't have to deal with that at all yesterday. The o-line was great!

All of you that think Landry is not a good quarterback are NUTS!! You need to watch other QBs for a while and watch him again!

And we can't wait for his time here to be over.

That's just as much because Blake Bell could be that generational game-changer. Right now, teams know he is only going to run and still have a tough time stopping him. The possibilities on how things could open up for him to run the ball and for Sooner receivers to be given even more time to get open is a very attractive scenario. It's a shame he will only be around for two BCS title wins in 2013 and 2014.

3-0 as the starter against Texas is great and very thankful for that, but these weren't exactly good Texas teams. Hopefully, he'll be 4-0 in bowls, but finally beating a real team in a real bowl.

^^This. LJ has his flaws and we all know them well. But great QBs (or even really good ones) are rare and you only need to watch other teams to see that. Ponder and Tannehill are starting in the NFL for goodness sakes. LJ will get his shot too.

That ball he put over Saunders' shoulder was oh so mediocre.

He played well but he's no Brent Rawls.

FWIW those aren't his career numbers vs Texas.

They are his numbers as a starter.

Career is 100/169 1174 yards 8 TD's 3 INT

I'll take 60%, 300 yards and 2 tds and under a pick for an average.
