I really like the new marque OOC games to start the season, but this is a snoozer of a matchup. Cow bells and cow pokes--maybe we should just call this the Bovine Bowl?

that's what the cowbells are for - to keep you awake!

Can you image how loud those damn bells would be if they closed Reliant Stadium for that game?

For the sheer annoyance factor, the paddle people got nothing on the bell ringers.

Oh, and I shouldn't have said bell ringers. Those cowbells produce nothing as gentle as a ringing sound. It's a full on clanging.

You mean the Oklahoma City RedHawks, because that was basically who was playing at Minute Maid Park this year. Haha. It is ok, this town will sell it's soul for a Super Bowl.

Oh, and I live with a ton of LSU and UT fans, so unless Boise State is moving down here, it isn't going to get much worse! haha!

Its very important for our conference though. Anytime a Big 12 team has a a chance to beat a SEC team its a big deal.

Why you say that? I thought conference affiliation was something you guys didn't care about or take any pride in.;)

They should play the game in Atlanta so the CDC can officiate.

Then your totally wrong. It can be the difference between OU getting in the National Championship game or not getting in the National Championship game. Every game matters.

I would think it mattered if OSU was playing a decent SEC team, but I suppose I could be wrong. Miss St. is a program on the rise. Their stock in the SEC rose by default when you took in a couple of Big XII rum dums.
