Minor injury? Never playing again then.

He's a 5th Yr Sr in his last RRR, and he had a monster game last year. If he has to be wheeled out there, he will play!

4th year... and that was Casey Walker. ;)
But given his distaste for Tejas... I agree.

I think they should let him go full berserker: naked, loaded to the gills with mushrooms and painted blue with woad. Then give him a battle axe and send him after Ash.

Don't know about you, but I'd pay good money to watch that.

No idea on his injury status, but a good read on him here. (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/OU/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20121011_92_B1_CUTLIN671202)

Don't subscribe to the Tulsa paper, and I've used up my monthly allotment of free reviews. A brief synopsis please.

Here's a short excerpt:

It's worth recalling all of this not to reflect back on McFarland's Sooner career, but to consider he is on course to graduate this December. He'll have a college degree before he plays his final college game.

"In the football world, it might look to many like Jamarkus wasn't some megastar, but in the classroom he excelled. That's what matters," says Kashemeyia Adams, McFarland's mother. "I am exceedingly proud of him, to the point that I almost want to cry."

If you don't remember, McFarland was the subject of that nytimes article where he described his RRS recruiting process. (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/26/sports/ncaafootball/26recruit.html?pagewanted=all) Highlights included weird UT recruiting parties, Mack asking if his house was better than Bob's and Stoops watching Beauty Shop with the McFarland family. David Boren also offered McFarland personal academic assistance.

He's good to go. Just watched an interview with him, and he's definitely excited about the game (or the fair food, maybe both).

Excellent articles, both of them. Thank you! Makes me appreciate what the coaches do for this program and how players conduct themselves compared to other schools.
