I continue to shake my head when these kids get treated gently when they are so close to screwing up not only the Team but their entire future.


TCU confirmed that Pachall had failed a Feb. 1 drug test, just two weeks before the arrests. Pachall attended a university drug and alcohol awareness program and was not suspended for any game time by Patterson.

It seems to me that winning trumped suspension when suspension might have been the best thing to do. Of course it is easy to armchair QB this situation but maybe they should consider that awareness programs don't work as well as sitting a kid down when he flunks a drug test.
