Got Lazyassed instead

Dang, you were a bit lazy today, Olevet.

By 9am, I had gathered a few pods of okra, a half bucket of squash, 6-7 cucumbers, a small mess of peas and a half bucket of lettuce from my mom's garden. I spent half the morning hand washing and drying the lettuce, putting them in zip-lock bags in the fridge to eat this next week. I had a killer salad for lunch and boiled lettuce (like turnip greens) seasoned with bacon, garlic and chilies for dinner. My mom said that the latter needed cornbread, so I guess that I was also a bit lazy.

The bunnies on my back slope await their armaggedon. They are either joyously naive or plotting a last minute get away. We'll know when we come to the 'Day of the Pellet Gun' (followed by the evening of the barbecue grill).
