I'd love to see a win... but if I were a betting man I'd lean more toward a 2009-sort of total meltdown in Lubbock right now long before I'd bet on OU magically learning how to play clean, physical football. They just look like a scout team for the 2008 group right now. And Tech will test us in a way we haven't seen yet-- through the air.
I'd feel a lot more confident if we had a better presence up front on D.

Don't know why everyone is butt loving tech. They played northwestern state, Texas state, and New Mexico before finally facing a decent opponent in Iowa state and that was an epic struggle for them.

I don't think anyone is in-love with Tech, it's more the lack of stellar play on the Sooners. I still think we pull off the win, but wouldn't be surprised if we don't.

I'm OU too, and I am pissed off.... that the team I support with my head, heart, and wallet, have such a Charmin soft QB and gutless offense that can't hold their water in a tight spot.

Remember this is nearly the same offensive personnel that flat out quit in Stillwater last year. I had hopes they would mature a little and get hungry over the summer. So far that hasn't happened.

And for the record, I had more than my opportunity to "tuck tail" in the John Blake years. And so far that hasn't happened.

So my prediction is based on this year's performances by the team, not some dumbass frat boy wishin' and hopin' and stupid 'wurr Ohh Yoooo' mentality thinking the world owes us a win... thinking that is best reserved for delusional aggroids that don't know dick about football.

Talk to me after you've eaten the 5-year old crow of Gibbs, Shnelly, and Blake. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a pop gun, and stand on that wall. Either way I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE ENTITLED TO!

I'd love to see it just as much as I'd like to know who your dealer is [/sarcmark]. This post sounds just like us all after KSU in 2003 and CU in 2004 and ISU last year. We'll see how it plays out... but blind faith would mean John Blake was still our coach. Coming out pissed off won't help if guys still aren't where they're supposed to be or able to do what they need to do. I'd prefer this young team to just remain focused on improving the little things that make a difference... like Metoyer needing to stay in bounds, Landry hanging in the pocket better and the progression on both lines of scrimmage.
