i'll say this -his personal life issues aside

if you like country music - and concerts - he puts on a VERY GOOD show.....lots of guitar, almost a rock concert feel with a country twist...loud and thumping. i've seen him twice and would highly recommend him to anybody

Pretty sad when the C&W singers are more and more like this guy. There's always been drunks and outlaws in C&W, but at least they didn't wear girlie earrings. In both ears.

Bought tickets to a George Jones show in OK in 1970. Bum was so drunk
he couldn't go on stage and they didn't refund the tickets. I still remember
the price..$70 for two tickets...I was in college and pumping gas parttime.
That was a fortune to me then. I've hated him ever since!

I still love Alan Jackson and Brad Paisley.

True a lot of it is pop or countrified rock. Not real country.

I like Alan too but it's been in decline since the infusion of all of the Garth clones. You could throw 10 of those guys into a dark room and have a hard time with which voice and style was that different.
