This team has really been developing over the years. They won a pretty decent little meet today, beating Arkansas (once the most dominant team in the sport but that's gone the opposite direction of the Sooners over the past few years), Duke, Michigan and some other quality squads.
They're 4th in the nation right now.

Glad to see this get some attention! Martin Smith has done an incredible job developing squads of 9:00-9:20 high school two-milers (not quite top tier times for recruits) into all-americans at OU. It will be very interesting to see how the transfer heavy squad (four of the seven varsity scorers!) does this year. Contrary to the coach's poll, I'm not sold on Wisconsin as a #1, especially with Mo Ahmed possible red-shirting. The Pokes unfortunately look very very very strong...Farrell-Kipchirchir-Manilafasha and Mescheo back from a redshirt year, add in Kirubel Erassa and I think they are the front-runners for the NC. Hopefully we can challenge for 2nd and 3rd!
