I'm surprised the listing didn't mention something about Nixon staying there.

If that won't sell it, nothing will. ;)

I'd also put "As seen in the movie Tex." People would be jumping all over it then.

I've been in it, about 4 years ago. Was kind of cool wondering around in there knowing that it had been shut down for so long. Kind of creepy too. We got to take a few "things" out of it, I think I have a "Registration" sign that hung above the front desk. But yeah, it is in pretty bad shape.

We're knights of the Round Table, our shows are for-mi-dable. But many times we're given rhymes that are quite un-sing-able,

It might be coming down.

The Tulsa Industrial Authority has the opportunity to enter into a loan agreement with the owner of the Camelot Hotel at I-44 and Peoria. The building has been vacant for more than a decade. This loan would allow the owner to get rid of the asbestos, and pay for the Camelot's demolition.

The TIA meets Wednesday at 8:00 am to decide whether to move forward with this loan agreement.

That's about on par with your ideas towards spending money, Ebeneezer.

If I had the money I would turn it into a complex with a medieval restaurant that included a stage for dinner plays. Part of the hotel could be one of those weekend sleepover 'Solve the crime, who done it mystery's where the patrons become part of the story. Then, for the kids and fun loving parents and adults I would have a fancy paint ball castle on the side. People could dress up like knights, Robin Hoods and damsels in distress. It would include a nice big healthy snake shack with juice drinks and food items that have castle names. :D

I'm going to guess!

The asbestos, in the medieval restaurant with the tumor.

What do I win?

Garofalo: There were no utensils in medieval times, so there are no utensils at Medieval Times. Can I get you another Diet Pepsi?

Broderick: They didn't have utensils but they had Diet Pepsi?

Garofalo: Dude, I have a lot of tables...

Why don't they just renovate the hotel to take advantage of all the downtown urban renewal and growing tourism happening in Tulsa?

*snicker*

Maybe they could move it into the Arkansas River and ask for six hundred million in public financing.

Hey, they could call it Channel Lot!

Ba-dum crash!

If I was going to redo a hotel I would rather have The Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, at least it has a bunch of ghost stories to go with the big old building.
