yes HECK...not the other! I called the Rep office in my town..(city) and offered my yard, on a main busy street close to a couple of churches (prob polling places) and they wanted $5 for Romney signs...ummm..think not.

Sure obama would be more than happy to provide for free...lol.

Charging for campaign signs? Seriously?

Actually, this is very normal procedure. Oklahoma isn't a swing state therefore the campaigns don't like to devote money and resources to the state. It's very normal for a presidential campaign to charge for yard signs and bumper stickers in a state like Oklahoma.

If you want **** for free then move to Ohio.

Yes, it's standard procedure. Those signs aren't cheap and the campaigns only have a finite amount of resources. However, there are still ways of getting signs for free. Sometimes the state parties themselves will print up Presidential campaign signs at their expense. The TX GOP did this in 2004 for Bush and you could get a free sign through them.

I know that in the last election you could get Obama signs and stuff by the truckload where I lived in Mississippi. If you wanted it, that is

I have put up my fair share of campaign signs over the years, but I've actually never worked with a Presidential campaign sans 8th grade when I bought a box of Dole/Kemp bumper stickers and passed them out to parents and teachers after school. (I wish I was kidding)

If you bug them enough, you can get one for free. Sometimes just to get rid of you.

Just take one from some street corner and stick it in your yard...that's going the distance...

Jeepman, do you think having a yard sign at this point will make one iota difference?
