I've been watching the whole game. Stanford has missed 3 FG's. Stanford started dominating both sides of the ball about mid way through the 3rd quarter.

Stanford shut out USC in the second half
Barkley was 20-41-2
USC's rushing game was 28-26!

Total yards Stanford 417, USC 280.

This is the fourth year, out of five, that USC has lost their conference opener,
2008 - Oregon St
2009 - Washington
2010 - Arizona St
2011 - Stanford

This sums up the game, USC 1st & 10 on Stanford 46 with less minute left. USC rushes McNeal up the middle for -3 years. USC had 26 yards rushing. Great call, but Barkley's passing must have been pis* poor.

Somebody help me here. I watched the entire game...where in the
wide world of sports did someone decide that the Trojans were the
team to beat...I saw an average, at best, O-line, certainly not a
Heisman caliber QB, a D-line not quite average, their RB's weren't
anything special, the brightest spot on their team is WR's.

On the other hand, if Stanford plays the rest of the way like last
night then they'll win the PAC 12 ( haven't seen Oregon).
