I have to share something. I received an email from my alma mater:

"Homecoming is next weekend and we hope to see you there! Registration is free at homecoming.cornell.edu. After registering, make sure you check in at the Homecoming Welcome Center located at Bartels Hall to receive your special Homecoming gift. Don’t miss your last opportunity to purchase football game tickets at a discounted price of $5 each."


lol! Discounted from the regular price of $10! Students get in free with their sports pass.

Cornell football is just a tad different environment from OU's. To say the least.

Now hockey tickets........that's a different story. lol

Ah, the Big Red. Same thing here in Canton, NY with St. Lawrence. They built a nice football stadium or half of one anyway (wouldn't hold all the fans of your average Oklahoma highschool game) and even that sits mostly empty for the home games. Come hockey season, the arena is packed and tickets, especially those right behind the glass, are at a premium.
