"Linebacker Tahj Jones and tight end Tyler Edwards are among four LSU players declared academically ineligible for the remainder of the football season,"

Somehow we can find a way to blame Les, I'm sure of it.

Can't blame Les. If it was up to him they'd still get to play.

Is it just me, or has Lester and LSU had a lot of academic issues lately? Are LSU's academic standards too high? Are LSU's student-athlete resources for academics lacking? Or perhaps, are LSU athletes under the assumption that SEC! SEC! SEC! means that athletes stay eligible even if they skip exams?

I thought it was interesting to see Honey Badger at their last game over coming his problems while trying to make sure nobody has forgotten him.

odd that they're just now figuring this out. You would think they would've known a few weeks ago.

The ONLY way an LSU player is not going to play is if the decision is completely left out of the hands of Les Miles.

Since I have to live with the barbarians, call me an interested observer. I'm sure they'll just plug in some big, fast MF that plays better than the suspended guys. It's like a fookin machine.

I still dont understand why its so hard for athletes to stay eligible; they probably get a helluva lot more tutoring than ur normal student

You'd think but NCAA made it so much harder for em when they started penalizing the schools that let the tutors take exams and write papers for em . . .

ABC's...don't need 'em in the SEC...

They don't even need to count to four. With all that SEC speed they never see a 4th down. And the magic scoreboard counts up the points for them.

They are the deepest team in the country and won't miss a beat. One example--Last wk against Washington they rotated in and out 15 different D-linemen.

This hasn't been true since 2003 or so, but that doesn't stop OU fans from parroting this as if it were the Gospel.

Well it's good to know that Les has changed his ways. But don't preach to us about the Les grew to know in Oklahoma.

It's different when one has to recruit and win at a Booneless Boone State.
