I have to say I have mixed feelings about it.

On the one hand, it sure was nice to hear that big nice thump as the balloon popped as Aggy realized that you can't just come back after the biggest year you've ever had and expect to just pick up where you left off because you won the previous years conference title. Lord knows I worked with a ton of them and its been pretty intolerable since December.

On the other hand, I truly wish it would have been in conference play, and not on the road before a mediocre at best Pac 12 team (and not even televised anywhere in the area) before their neon-orange azzes got handed to them.

Oh well, you can't always get what you want. *shrug*

I actually stayed to watch the 2nd half. It was hard to tell if the poke offense was really that good or the AZ defense was really that bad. The poke receivers were wide open, the backs had gaping holes to run through and Lunt generally had lots of time to throw. It looked like the pokes should score at will if they didn't keep making mistakes. On the other hand, the pokes D was a sieve trying to stop the option running game. You could see that it was no fluke that K-state scored so many points on them last season and that the AZ QB was much more athletic than Klein. The poke/horn game will be very interesting.
