I heard on the radio today that Casey Walker was a personal issue and he's supposedly deciding if he wants to play football anymore. I sure hope he decides to come back. If they want a shot at a BCS game they will need experience on the D-line. I hope McGee will be back in the next week or so as well.

Nothing has been released from the athletic department or coaching staff regarding Walker's leave of absence other than "personal issue". Everything else is rumor or speculation.

Stoops said that Walker and McGee had "No change" in their current situation and wouldn't play against FAMU.

Grissom WILL play this weekend.

Nobody asked about Jaz or Trey, so Stoops didn't address those guys. I suspect that question will come up at some point before the KSU game.

AD's collarbone is good to go, but Jason White's knees are rigatoni still. Jeff Frazier should be back to practice this week though. Glyn Milburn transferred out to Stanford and Bryan Sallier, on top of playing basketball, is going to give it a go at tight-end. Things are looking up.

I thought Ndulue played really well for a first time starter. I'm happy that he's not happy with his performance though.

From everything I've seen we're still looking at DTs. Right now, the best JuCo prospect we have is a kid named Toby Johnson out of Hutchinson CC (KS). The coaching staff has a lot riding on one kid, Justin Manning (brother of Demarcus Granger). He's got the size and talent to be a freshman starter. Otherwise, we have offers out to 5 or 6 other guys that haven't committed anywhere.

Once the season starts, recruiting slows way gown (between the coaches focus and recruits playing their high school seasons). Oddly, we were probably the deepest along the d-line than any other area just before camp opened. Need some guys to step up.
