Our top two D tackles were at home. Our best D end had to play DT. So, we had three of ou front four out. Bit, we did look awful all over the place.

It seems like we've stopped recruiting period. We haven't picked up a commit in over a month.

I want bigger DE's and the LB's to play closer to the line of scrimmage then 5 - 7 yards off on 1st and 2nd down.

What's interesting is that it's Oklahoma that probably got the bandwagon rolling with those types of players with the Selmon brothers. They'd be smallish today, but in their time, they were the monsters of the midway. King and the freshman Phillips fit that mold.
But overall, there are more of them in the South, because we have a higher black population. They're just better. Bigger, faster and stronger. End of discussion.

racist and accuratetoo bad when accurate remarks, even positive ones, get branded as racist, and that tends to end the conversation.(even when someone brands his own remarks as racist) Maybe not in this case?

It's a statistical fact. The population density of African-Americans or whatever term the respective person prefers to use is astronomically higher in the states representing the SEC than other states representing other conferences. I'm white as can be and I have no problem saying that white men can't jump. :smug:

Complimenting someone for being good at something is racist?

Hate to be technical but technically speaking, any stereotype drawn along racial lines is racist. As they say, most sterotypes become stereotypes because they're . . . mostly true. Racist but true. Carry on.

Yeah, BUT, the state of Alabama only has a 3,000,000 population. There's something else in their Wheaties.

Complimenting someone for being good at something is racist?Depends on how you say it, and how much you elaborate and explain, it seems. Gotta be careful to stay within PC limits.

to be more technical, a stereotype isn't racist, it is prejudice
