Defense is doing its job. After the 1st drive, Mike made adjustments, its starting to look like 2002.

Josh Heupel and our gimmick offense is why we've scored only 1 touchdown. 95% of our plays are out of the Pistol. The Pistol or Diamond f$ckin sucks. Its good for a good long bomb here and there, but we've incorporated it as our base offense.

Almost every running play has been from the Pistol. Why run from the Pistol when your RB is lined up 7-8 yards behind the line of scrimmage? To get a first down, that's 18 yards......Its ridiculous. What I miss about Kevin Wilson and the 08 offense was how we lined up in the I-formation and pounded it. I can't recall at all the last time OU has had Milard leading the way out of the I........

And that's why Alabama has become d#mn near become unstoppable, they have a powerful running game. LSU, Alabama, and even Auburn had powerful running games during the current SEC's championship run and not one had the speedy, spread, gimmicky crap.....This gimmick Pistol crap and draws from the Pistol are worthless.....
