This occured much later than the Reggie Bush scandal. I think McKnight may have been recruited by Kiffin. Regardless, these are new allegations because Pat Haden is the one responding.

I suspect Kiffin's "in your face" way he went about recruiting and circumventing the intent of the recruiting limitations did not sit well with the NCAA.
