Anyone know whats behind the story on rivals that Casey Walker is questionable for Saturday's game? Thanks.

Very likely he will NOT play Saturday. All Stoops is saying is that it's a "non football related injury".

Expect Phillips to see a lot of snaps. Also, RFr Marquis Anderson will see playing time.

Good (well, better than injury) news is it's not an injury. Stoops said it's a non-football issue. Being defined as "personal." Casey's been one of the bright and most consistent spots this off-season, so rest easy... we're not looking at another Trey Franks/Jaz Reynolds/Casey Walker-type situation.

Hope everything is okay for him.

I think he called it a "non related football health issue". Who knows what that means?!

I'm not really too concerned since we're playing UTEP, but I hope whatever it is, Casey can recover.

I'm not worried about Saturday either; was hoping to get the long term outlook. Hope everything is okay.

This may actually be a good thing in the long run. Since it's going to force Phillips and Anderson into early playing time, it could help them. That's my sunshine pumper spin anyway.
